Every year, this festival is a local favorite, but also attracts visitors from across Virginia and nearby states. It combines history, delicious food, Virginia brews and live bluegrass music for an event that is truly memorable.

Thomas Jefferson’s enthusiasm for wine continues in this annual celebration hosted at Poplar Forest. This National Historic Landmark features beautiful grounds and buildings for visitors to tour. During the festival, visitors can savor a variety of wines and ciders, sample local fare, shop works by local artisans and listen to live musical performances.

  • Must be 21 or older; ID must be shown for all tasting and VIP ticket holders at the door. No exceptions.

  • Regular admission: $25 in advance (highly recommended), $30 at the door

  • VIP tickets: $125 per person or $225 per couple

  • Designated driver and non-tasting tickets: $10
